A chance encounter with a painter in NYC shifted my path, leading me to Paris, where I connected with Francois Perrin, a theoretical architect. With his encouragement, I applied to SCI-Arc in Southern California with a nontraditional portfolio and began my architectural journey.
Graduate school at SCI-Arc transformed my understanding of design, emphasizing not just emotional responses but also occupant engagement and wellness. A visit to Vals Thermal Baths in Switzerland underscored architecture’s power to evoke deep experiences, guiding my work to resonate with users.
